Abstract

The waste printed circuit boards were crushed with a micro crusher. The chemical composition, shape, dissociation conditions and the regularity of metal distribution of each particle size were researched. The flotation was conducted with a flotation machine. The results indicate that the metal content reduces with the smaller particle size, the metal and non-metal particles are totally separated while the size is smaller than 0.45 mm, and the best flotation size is 0.45-0.2 mm. The flotation concentrate grade is 89.85% (mass fraction), and the metal recovery reaches 96.24%. The metal recovery of particles smaller than 0.125 mm is lower in flotation. The concentration of particles smaller than 0.45 mm is good, the concentration grade is up to 87.32%(mass fraction), and the metal recovery is 90.11%.
