摘要

Abstract

The classification test was done in a CF type vortex classifier under different rotate speed using heavy calcium carbonate powder and quartz powder. The computational fluid dynamics software was used to simulate the classification characteristics of vortex classifier. The results show that with the increasing of rotate speed, the particle size is fine, and the classification efficiency increases at first and then decreases. The effect of the same parameters on the classification efficiency of various materials is different When the rotate speed increases to a certain extent, the countercurrent phenomenon of the particles appears. The separated particles come back to the classification district and influence the classification efficiency.
