Reliability and Validity of the Chinese Version of the White Bear Suppression Inventory

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the White Bear Suppression Inventory (WBSI) in Chinese undergraduate students sample. Methods: The Chinese version of WBSI was used to assess 396 undergraduate students, 68 of whom participated in the retest 4 weeks later. BD1. STAI, and Obsessive-Compulsive Symptom Scale were used as the criteria-related validity instrument. Results: (PConfirmatory factor analysis showed the scale was composed of single factor; ￤BSI had significant correlation with BDI, S-AI, T-AI, and Obsessive-Compulsive Symptom Scale. (DCronbach's a coefficients of the Chinese version of WBSI was 0.83, and 4 weeks later the test-retest reliability of the Chinese version of WBSI was 0.82. Conclusion: The Chinese version of WBSI has acceptable psychometric quality.关键词
