摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of nun -steroidal anti - inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and opiods in attenuating postoperative pain. Methods One hundred and twenty - six patients after undergon-ing elective surgery were randomized to receive NSAIDs, opiods or saline separately. Observed outcomes included pain evaluation by visual analogue scale ( VAS) and the incidences of nausea, vomit and respiratory depression. Results VAS scores in NSAIDs group and opiods group were both significantly higher than that in saline group ( P < 0. 05), whereas it did not differ significantly between NSAIDs group and opoids group atl,2,4,8,12h postoperatively ( P > 0. 05 ). Patients in NSAIDs group and opiods group ambulated earlier and had a better mental state than those in saline group ( P < 0. 05 ) . The incidence of nausea and vomit was significantly higher in opiods group than in the other groups (P < 0. 05 ). The incidences of somnolence in NSAIDs group and opiods group were both significantly higher than those in saline group (P < 0. 05). Conclusion Both NSAIDs and opiods were effective in relieving postoperative pain. Furthermore, NSAIDs had less adverse effects than opiods.关键词
