Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of angelic decoction on proliferation, cell cycle, apoptosis, and collagen synthesis of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). Methods HUVEC was cultured and passaged in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) and treated with Angelicanaphtha 1mg/L, 4mg/L, and 16mg/L at 1, 3, 5, and 7day respectively. The proliferation was measured with MTT method. The cell cycle and apoptosis were analyzed with Flow cytometry and collagen synthesis was determined with radioimmunoassay. Results The HUVEC proliferation was accelerated by Angelic decoction in concentration-dependent manner (P<0.05). S phase cells and Ga/M phase cells were increased and Go/G, phase cells and apoptosis was gradually reduced by Angelic decoction (P<0.05). The collagen synthesis of HUVEC was also inhibited by Angelic decoction in concentration-dependent manner (P<0.05). Conclusion The HUVEC proliferation was accelerated and the apoptosis was reduced and the collagen synthesis was reduced by Angelic decoction.关键词
