Abstract
Objective To research whether the post-repair result of burying residual teeth root is better than that of traditional extract it after young permanent teeth trauma. Methods The study was performed at the Second Hospital of Qinhuangdao with a target sample size of 60 young patients with a total of 90 young permanent teeth trauma,during January 2001 -September 2009.All patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group contains 50 impaired teeth that residual teeth root were buried till the root formatted and then executed root canal treatment and dowel crown repair or pull out the root and fix it.The control group contains 40 impaired teeth which were pulled out at once and dentures were used to repair it after adult. Results In experimental group 45 of the 50 teeth were repaired successfully while 33 of the 40 teeth in control group.There is a significant difference between the two groups in repair ratio (P<0.05). Conclusion The method of burying residual teeth root is beneficial to the development of alveolar bone and jaw and provides a good basis for future repair,and the effect is obvious better than that of traditional method.关键词
