Abstract
Objective To research the expression of p53 and MDM2 protein in cutaneous basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and explore the mechanisms of occurrence and development of the BCC. Methods To detect the expressions of p53 and MDM2 protein in the 50 cases of BCC and 30 cases of normal cutaneous tissues by immunohistochemistry S-P method. Results The positive rate of p53 and MDM2 in the tissues of the 50 cases of BCC were respectively 58% (29/ 50) and 46% (23/50),while in the 30 cases of normal cutaneous tissues neither the expression of p53 nor MDM2 was positive, there were significant difference between them (P<0.05). Moreover,the expression of p53 was positively correlated with MDM2 protein (r=0.460). Conclusions Abnormal expression of p53 and MDM2 might play important roles in the occurrence and development of BCC.关键词
