Abstract
Objective To explore perioperative nursing of sequential auricle reconstruction of microtia using quantitative tissue expansion and temporal fascia flap. Methods From January 2010 to December 2011, careful nursing was proceeded to observe 38 microtia patients undergone with ear reconstruction and tympanoplasty. Results Thirty-eight patients of microtia were treated with aesthetic and functional reconstruction. The reconstructed ears had natural-looking contour. The hearing acuity was improved in various degrees. The complications such as facioplegia, spinning sensation, and tinnitus were none. There was no case of narrow or stenosis of external acoustic meatus in follow-up. Conclusions The sequence of ear reconstruction and acoustic reconstruction could provide anesthetic and functional result of microtia with aural atresia. Good nursing is the key factor of successful surgery.关键词
