American Postgraduate Classroom Teaching: Characteristics and Enlightenment

Abstract
Postgraduate classroom teaching is a key link for postgraduates to obtain knowledge and skills and increase the innovative ability. This paper introduced the characteristics of American postgraduate classroom teaching including instructors with high academic prestige, teaching contents focusing on inner links, frequently applied interactive teaching methods, etc. Therefore, postgraduate classroom teaching in the USA has many advantages over that in China. In order to improve the counterpart classroom teaching in China, we should train competent teachers, edit high-quality textbooks for graduate students, apply heuristic teaching method in the classroom, and activate classroom atmosphere.关键词
