遗产旅游地酒店企业环境行为研究
An Empirical Study on Environmental Performances of Tourists' Hotels in the World Heritage Site:Case of Zhangjiajie

Abstract
An analysis of corporation environmental behavior from a microcosmic perspective so as to identify the key factors affecting corporations' environmental performances makes a significant contribution to seeking the optimum solution for the improvement of the corporations' environmental behavior, and to working out a set of effective environmental policies for the government. This study wag designed as an exploratory survey research in order to assess the environmental performances of tourist hotels in Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, China, which is listed in the "World Natural Heritage" by UNESCO in 1992. It included the analyses of 33 environmental performance indicators and 6 categories, and a hypothesis on the performance differences among the surveyed accommodations of varied groups. Findings show that the group mean average for the 6 categories are 1.91,2.04,1.77,1.95, 1.62 and 1. 45; tourist hotels have low performance on environmental managerial knowledge, communication for environmental awareness and water efficiency/conservation; there are significant differences among the accommodation groups on only 12 performance indicators, which just provide partial support for the hypothesis. Lastly, some countermeasures and suggestions such as to strengthen responsibility consciousness, to promote the transformation of operation mode, and to reinforce the control and guidance, are put forward for the improvement of the hotels' environmental performances.关键词
