Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical efficacy of infectious root canals washed and disinfected by Compound kangfuxin solution. METHODS: 150 teeth with chronic apical periodontitis were randomly selected for root canal treatment, and then they were randomly divided into compound kangfuxin solution group, calcium hydroxide group and formocresol group with 50 teeth in each group. Corresponding drug was washing the root canals. Clinical efficacy, treatment course, root canal preparation and clinical symptoms after root canal disinfection were evaluated. RESULTS:' Therapeutic efficacy of Compound kangfuxin solution was better than formaldehyde cresol formocresol group was similar to the calcium hydroxide group, but more simple andecc-nomical than calcium hydroxide. CONCLUSIONS: Compound kangfuxin solution has a good effect on chronic apical periodontitis.关键词
