摘要

Abstract

Ecto-nucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterases ( ENPPs) , the members of CD203 family are ecto-enzymes which control signaling through purinoceptors by regulating the metabolism of extracellular nucleotides. Recently, it was found that activated basophil specifically express CD203c, based on flowcytometry-assisted basophil activation test (BAT). Thus CD203c may become an important marker for BAT. Since BAT is believed to be one of the gold standards for diagnosis of allergic diseases, the altered expression of CD203c on the basophil membrane may be of significance for the auxiliary diagnosis of allergic disease.
