Abstract
In Weiyuan, the shale gas reservoir has the characteristics of high content of quartz shale, brittle, low water sensitivity, bedding architecture that is easy to peel off, and significant strength anisotropy with the bedding plane inclination about 40°-60°, which causes wellbore collapsing in horizontal and directional sections. Based on the characteristics of the shale gas reservoirs, the oil-based drilling fluid is chosen in directional and horizontal sections of the well Wei201-H3, and this drilling fluid has rational density, strong sealing capability, low filtration loss and good performance of carrying cuttings.In drilling operation, the formation activity database about Xian Si group and all of the formations below are established,which provides a foundation for activity anti-collapsing theory. The application results of well Wei201-H3 show that the oil-based drilling fluid system can solve the shale collapsing problem in the district of Weiyuan.关键词
