摘要

Abstract

The silicate drilling fluid system is widely used in Sultan, but the problem of difficult to break foams is encountered while drilling. After the evaluation of every additive used in the silicate drilling fluid system, an experimental result is developed that the reaction between sodium silicate and CO, is the main reason of foaming, and the anti-foaming additive cooperated with lubricant can break foams effectively. Also the temperature, pH, polymer additive have some effect on foam stability.
