Influence of roller parameters on stress and strain of aluminium alloy thin plate in cold rolling process

Abstract
Three-dimentional nonlinear finite element model for cold rolling of aluminium alloy 3 A210 thin strip (30 mm ×2 mm) is established based on ABAQUS. The influence of roller diameter and rotating speed on the stress and strain distribution of the strip is analyzed. It is found that, when the rolling reduction is 50% and roller parameters are different, the variation of strip stress distribution is small, but the variation of strip strain distribution is large; when the roller parameters are changed, the extension strain distribution has three forms ( concave, ladder and parabola forms) ; and when the roller diameter is changed, the variation of thickness strain and extension strain is large, even the difference of strain at some local points is up to 17. 9%. The conclusion is that the increase of roller diameter and rotating speed is beneficial to the thickness uniformity.关键词
