摘要

Abstract

Large monolithic structures often have rihs and webs. The forming process of forgings for this kind of structure is extremely complex, and prone to appearance of defects such as underfilling, folding, vortex and flow-through. The influence of rib width, root radius of rib and web thickness on distribution of flow lines within forgings was analyzed comprehensively with FEM and according to the curvature variation of flow lines. The results indicate that the smaller rib width and root radius of rib, and thinner web thinness, the higher the fluctuation of the curvature value is, and the more possible the appearance of defects such as flow-through.
