摘要

Abstract

The development history of lost foam casting (LFC) was reviewed, and the LFC has been widely applied to cast iron and cast steel. However, the development of LFC of Al alloy and Mg alloy was relatively slower. The application and extension of LFC of Al alloy and Mg alloy needs more efforts, especially in China. In this paper, the application situations of Al alloy and Mg alloy LFC were mainly discussed Meanwhile, the key problems of Al alloy and Mg alloy LFC were pointed out Finally, the prospect of LFC technology was discussed, and some special LFC new technologies were introduced for manufacturing Al and Mg alloys. In future, the development directions of the green LFC technology mainly focus on the special LFC new methods, metal materials, coating, heat treatment, new foam materials and purification technology of tail gas, etc.
