摘要
Abstract
The original casting process of the rear axle housing of excavator was simulated by the simulation software AnyCasting, of which results show the casting defects, such as inclusions, shrinkage, shrinkage cavity and cracks etc, easily occurred in the casting. The results of simulation basically accorded with the actual defects. Against the disadvantages of the original process, optimized measures were adopted in following aspects: gating system and riser design, layout of chills, transition of fillet, pouring time adjustment and coating improvement. After optimization, the probability of defects occurring decreased greatly and the technological yield increased.关键词
