Abstract
[Objective] Select the tobacco varieties with high--quality, suitable productivity and strong resistance for southern Anhui area,to highlight the good characteristics of flue-cured tobacco in southern Anhui,and to better meet the needs of Chinese cigarettes. [Method] Four varieties were compared to the control（Yunyan 87）. The planting area of each variety was 1.0 - 1.3 hm2,and then a comprehensive evaluation was carried out. [Result] The growth stages,plant height,stem diameter,leaf number, resistance,economic benefits,and chemical composition of tobacco varieties were evaluated comprehensively. The results showed that Yunyan 203 got the best performance,its output value was higher than the control by 4.1%, the characteristics were fine, and stress resistance was strong. The output value of other three varieties were lower than or close to controL[Conclusion] The performance of Yunyan 203 was best. It＇ s suitable for planting in large southern Anhui tobacco -growing areas. The further experiment and demonstration of other three varieties should be carried out.关键词
