Contact Activities of 20 Plant Extracts against Lipaphis erysimi Kaltenbach

摘要

Abstract

[Objective] The aim was to screen out plants which had strong contact activity against Lipaphis erysimi Kaitenbach. [ Method]Twenty plant species which were collected from Cupo Mountain in Hezhou were extracted with methanoi by cold soaking method. Contact activities of 20 methanol plant extracts to Lipaphis erysimi Kaitenbach were determined by topical application. [ Result] The methanoi extracts from Mussaenda esquirolli Lev] and Folium trematis Orientals had the highest contact activities against lipaphis erysimi Kaitenbach at the dose of 10 pig/larva, and their 24 h corrected mortalities were 92. 22% and 92. 15% .respectively. Next came Folium trematis and Viola hossei,anA their 24 h corrected mortalities were 87.59% and 82.95% .respectively. Trie methanoi extract of Hedyotis lancea had medium activity,with the 24 h corrected mortality of 65.52%. Methanoi extracts of the other plants had low contact activities against Lipaphis erysimi Kaitenbach,with the corrected mortality being below 50%. The methanoi extracts of Mussaenda esquirolli, Ficus variolosa and Folium trematis had high contact toxicity, with LD50 of 0.768 6, 0.784 1 and 1.504 4 μg/larva,respectively. [Conclusion] Mussaenda esquirolli,Ficus variolosa and Folium tremalis show exploitation potential, and they are worth further studying.
