应用红外热成像技术辨析疼痛性质和发病机制
Infrared thermal imaging technology used in analysis on nature and mechanism of pain

Abstract
Objective To analyze the nature of unknown pain by using infrared thermal imaging technology and sum up the pathogenesis and types of pain. Methods Infrared thermal imaging technology was used and compared with rheumatic factor and results of X-ray and CT to observe health people ( n = 40 ) and patients ( n = 40) with cold-damp pain, pain induce by disorder of blood circulation or aseptic inflammation, pain due to qi stagnation and blood stasis, and mixed pain (cold combining stasis). Half patients were male and half were female aged from 23 years old to 65 years old. Results The temperature of thermograms of pain areas was lower in patients with cold-damp pain than that in other patients and the thermograms showed color of dark blue. The temperature of thermograms was higher in the patients with pain induce by disorder of blood circulation than that in patients with cold-damp pain and the thermograms showed color of blue. The temperature of thermograms was higher in patients with pain induce by aseptic inflammation than that in other patients and the thermograms showed color of dark red. The temperature of thermograms had high area as well as low area in patients with mixed pain, and high area was closed to that in patients with pain due to qi stagnation and blood stasis and low area was closed to that in patients with pain induce by disorder of blood circulation. The temperature of thermograms was lower in the patients with pain due to qi stagnation and blood stasis than that in the patients with pain induce by aseptic inflammation, and higher than that in health people and other patients. The thermograms were larger and showed as scattered and stellate red area in the patients with pain due to qi stagnation and blood stasis, while those were centered and flaky in other patients. The characteristics of thermograms were prominent in all patients and the difference was significant (P < 0. 05) after statistical handling. Conclusion Infrared thermograms can be taken as the objective index, from both visible images and data proofs, in syndrome differentiation and treatment in clinic, which provide a reliable base and guidance for the treatment of unknown pain.关键词
