Abstract
From historical context and new poem practice,essay-like language of new poems is a language form accompanied by the style of new poems.It seems unjust to attribute the drawbacks brought about by essay-like new poems to Hu Shi.Language of new poems must be in essay style,but the essay-like language of new poems should keep the characteristics of poetry.Although language use and condensed poetry are symbiotic,poetry is still the essence of poems which is of special significance.Handling the relationships between them is the key to achieving benign development of new poems.关键词
