Experimental Research on Low-level ^220Rn Measurement by Using Software Delayed Coincidence Method

介绍了软件延迟符合分辨测量氡同位素的基本原理及相应的计算公式,并构建了软件延迟符合实验装置,对低活度220Rn源进行测量,与RAD7连续测氡仪进行了比对实验。实验结果显示,本底计数率为2~4 cpm时,延迟符合实验装置能够分辨测量衰变率为3~18 dpm的220Rn样,其测量结果与RAD7测量值偏差均在±8%以内。实验结果表明,软件延迟符合法能够在含有222Rn的环境中分辨并测量出低水平220Rn。

The principle and calculation formulas of software delayed coincidence counting technology to discriminate radon isotopes are introduced in this paper. Experiment system was established for measurement of low-level ^220Rn by comparative measurement with RAD7. The results show that ^220Rn of decay rate of 3 dpm--18 dpm can be measured by the system with an error of ±8% , when the background count rate is 2 cpm--4 cpm.
