Dicer蛋白在口腔癌中的表达及其临床意义
Expression of Dicer in oral squamous cell carcinoma and its clinical significance

Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between the expression level of Dicer protein and its clinicopatholog-ical characteristics in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), thus to investigate the role of Dicer protein in oral careino-genesis. Methods The expression levels of Dicer were evaluated by immunohistochemistry assay in Paraffin-embedded tissues from 76 cases of OSCC, 20 cases of leukoplakia and 10 cases of normal mucosa adjacent to the tumor (NAT). To analyze the expression level of Dicer protein, the mean optical density (MOD) and the percentage of positive ( PP) im-munostaining cells were measured by Image-Pro Plus 6.0. The correlation between MOD and PP and its clinicopathologi-cal parameters was also analyzed with SPSS 14.0 accordingly. Results The MOD and PP of Dicer protein declined in OSCC , leukoplakia, and NAT in turn ( P < 0.05 ). The overexpression of Dicer was not related to age, gender and tumor cell differentiation (P > 0.05). The expression of Dicer protein was found to be correlated with stage ( P < 0. 01) and lymph node metastasis in patients (P <0.05). Conclusion The Dicer protein expression was up-regulated in OSCC and Leukoplakia. It may play a key role in the process of invasion and tumorogenesis in OSCC.关键词
