青少年错(牙合)畸形患者正畸治疗相关因素分析
Analysis of factors influencing orthodontic treatment of the adolescents with malocclusion

Abstract
Objective To explore the influence factors influencing orthodontic treatment in the malocclusion of adolescents. Methods One hundred and fifty-three adolescents with malocclusion were selected for questionnaire survey. Chi-square test was used for statistic analysis. Results Esthetics was the main reason for the patients seeking orthodontic treatment. The next reason was the anticipationof parents. Most adolescents have no special demand about the appliance. But more girls selected ceramic appliance than the boys, and significant difference existed between them. More girls accepted orthodontic extraction than boys and nearly half part of girls had known some knowledge about orthodontics before. Conclusion The orthodontic treatment desire of the adolescents was affected by several factors. Recognition of orthodontics should be strengthened in the adolescents.关键词
