Abstract

An experiment was conducted with 6 treatments(kalium polyacrylate,kalium polyacrylate+humic acid,polyacrylamide,polyacrylamide+humic acid,humic acid,CK)to study the effects of soil amendments on soil water content,water use efficiency and yield of oat.The results showed that soil amendments could improve the soil water content of each layer in 0~40 cm depth,especially kalium polyacrylate,kalium polyacrylate+humic acid.yields of soil amendment treatments were higher than that of CK;yield of kalium polyacrylate+humic acid was the highest and increased by 44% compared with CK;Spike number,grain number per spike,1000-grain weight of oat after applying soil amendments noticeably increased,and 1000-grain weight increased significantly.Different soil amendments all had an effect on improving water use efficiency;water use efficiency of mixed treatments was higher than that of other single treatments;among them,water use efficiency of kalium polyacrylate + humic acid was 7.14 kg/(hm2·mm) and the highest,polyacrylamide+humic acid the second.The study suggested that application of soil amendments improved soil water status of field and rainfall use efficiency so as to increase yield,and the effect of water saving and production increasing of kalium polyacrylate+humic acid was the most significant.
