晚期肺鳞状细胞癌Bmi-1表达与吉西他滨联合顺铂化疗疗效的关系
Relationship between the efficacy of combination chemotherapy with gemcitabine and cisplatin and Bmi-1 protein expression in Ⅲ b/Ⅳ squamous cell carcinoma

Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between Bmi-1 protein expression in cancerous tissues and the efficacy of gemcitabine combined with cisplatin ( GP ) in patients with stage Ⅲb / Ⅳ lung squamous cell carcinoma.Methods Selected 53 patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma who received at least four cycles of combination chemotherapy with gemcitabine and cisplatin.Bmi-1 protein in the pathological specimens was detected by immunohistochemistry.SPSS 13.0 software was used to analyze the relationship between Bmi-1 expression and response rate ( RR ).Results The positive rate of Bmi-1 protein expression in squamous cell carcinoma was 69.8％ ( 37/53 ).There was significant difference in RR between the patients with positive Bmi-1 expression and those with negativeexpression [35.1％ ( 13/37 ) vs.56.2％ ( 9/16 ),P ＜ 0.05].Conclusions The expression level of Bmi-I proteinplays some role in prediction of the efficacy of cisplatin chemotherapy in end- stage lung squamous cell carcinoma.Cisplatin-based chemotherapy might be suitable for the lung squamous cell carcinoma patients with low expression level of Bmi-1.关键词
