Abstract
Objective To observe the effect and mechanism of Rupian capsule on hyperplasia of mammary gland in rats. Methods The hyperplasia of mammary gland rat model was established by estradiol benzoate and progesterone(P). The diameter and height of breast and nipples were measured by vernier caliper. Levels of estradiol(E2) and P in serum were detected by radioimmunoassay. The number of lobules of mammary gland,acinus and the average diameter of acinar lumina were accounted by histopathology. The blood viscosity was detected by the cone and plate method. Results Rupian capsule inhibited the amplification of breast and nipple,as well as modulated E2 and P levels and E2/P ratio. Meantime, Rupian capsule also decreased the incidence of mastoplasia, histopathological changes, hyperplasia of mammary gland, and blood viscosity. Conclusion Rupian capsule shows therapeutic effects on hyperplasia of mammary gland in rats. 关键词
