陕西省商南县0～5岁儿童生长发育与喂养相关研究
Study of growth and feeding status of children aged 0-5 years old in Shangnan County of Shaanxi Province
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the status of growth and development, nutrition and supplementary food addition of children aged 0-5 years in Shangnan County of Shaanxi Province so as to provide basis for taking scientific intervention measures for improving rural children' s nutrition and health status. Methods In Shangnan County of Shaanxi Province 2 towns were randomly selected and 458 children living there were surveyed with questionnaires to understand their growth and development and feeding status. Results Generally speaking, physical growth of children under 5 years old in Shangnan County was well. Underweight accounted for 4. 0% , growth retardation accounted for 11.5% and wasting accounted for 2.1% . Among different time for supplementary food, there were significant differences in weight-forage ( WAZ ) and height-for-age ( HAZ ) for 6-23 month children (x2 value was 19. 339 and 16. 713, respectively, both P < 0. 05 ), but there was no significant difference in WAZ, weight-for-height ( WHZ ) and HAZ among complementary feeding species ( all P >0. 05 ). Conclusion The development of children under 5 years old in Shangnan County of Shaanxi Province conforms general rules and their nutritional status is well.关键词
