Abstract
Objective To analyze the blood flow indices of poly cystic ovary syndrome ( PCOS ) and poly cystic ovary ( PCO ) by color Doppler ultrasound so as to explore the differences between them. Methods Fifty patients of PCOS and another 50 of PCO were chosen and examinated by transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound. The changes of blood resistance index ( RI ) of ovarian stromal artery, uterine artery and uterine spiral arteries of them were observed and analyzed using statistical methods. Results The RI of ovarian stromal artery of PCOS patients was significantly lower than that of PCO patients ( 0. 43-0. 10 vs 0. 69-0. 24 ,t -7.07 ,P < 0. 05 ) , but the RI of uterine artery was much higher than that of PCO ones ( 0. 87-0. 05 vs 0. 59-0. 03, t = 12. 33, P < 0. 05 ) and there was no significant difference in uterine spiral arteries between two groups ( 0. 59 -0. 07 vs 0. 58-0. 06, t = 0. 77, P > 0. 05 ). Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound provides objective and quantitative indices for differential diagnosis of PCOS and PCO.关键词
