摘要

Abstract

The PI3K-Akt-mTOR signal pathway is a key intracellular signal transduction pathway, which plays important roles in cell apoptosis, transcription, translation, metabolism, angiogenesis, and the cell replication cycle. Viral myocarditis, resulting from coxsackjevirus B3, primarily involves the immune response and apoptosis rather than cellular damage by the virus per se. It is a commonly acquired heart disease in children. We elucidate changes in the PI3K.-Akt-mTOR signal pathway in cells infected by coxsackievirus B3 which contribute to the pathogenesis of viral myocarditis.
