摘要

Abstract

The hydroxyl radical eliminating activities of flavonoid extracted from Liupanshui of Polygonum viviparum L. by 70% alcohol was studied. Using the assay system of 1,1-diphenyl- 2-picryl-hyrazyl radicals (DPPH-), the antioxidant activities of the Polygonum viviparum L. flavonoids were studied and compared with those of vitamin E (VE) and ascorbic acid (Vc). Results showed that the extracts of the Polygonum viviparum L. of flavonoids could inhibit lipid peroxidation and scavenge active DPPH free radicals. The elimination of the density of the Polygonum viviparum L. flavonoids (368.94 gg/mL) was attained by 88.96% and remarkable exceeded hibitory effect on the antioxidation of superoxidized anionic and lipid peroxidantion. So the Polygonum viviparum L. flavonoids showed the strongest inhibitory effect on the antionxidation of superoxidized anionic and lipid peroxidantion.
