Abstract
The friction welding of aluminum and steel was conducted. The microstructure of welded joint was observed by optical microscope, and welded joint was analyzed by EPMA and XRD. The results showed that the flash appeared at the side of aluminum in welded joint weld, while large deformation did not appear at the side of steel. The whole tensile test for welded joint was conducted; the fracture appeared at the side of aluminum, the tensile strength was 96 MPa, which indicated that the strength of welded joint is higher than that of base material of aluminum, so the welded joint is with good performance. Through analysis, it found that the combination mode of welded joint belongs to mechanical and metallurgical combination, the grain at the side of steel is fine, and occurred obvious deformation. The closer to aluminum from weld zone it is, the more fine grain is.关键词
