Abstract

Abstract The metalworking fluids wastewater was treated by UV/Fenton. The optimum conditions deter- mined by the orthogonal experiment and single-factor experiment were as follows : pH = 2.5, Fe2 + adding capacity of 24.8 mmol/L, H2 02 ( concentration of 30% ) adding capacity of 127.5 mL/L and adding 6 times during the to- tal reaction time of three hours. Under the conditions, the COD removal rate could reach to 95%. Finally, using the 1st Opt software to make multiple non-linear fitting, it could establish the mathematic model equation of the COD removal rate of the MWFs by UV/Fenton, and then analyzed and discussed it.
