Analysis of construction generated soil as filling material for consolidation pile
摘要
Abstract
This paper introduced the construction generated soil which partially replaces the high grade sand as the filling material for dense piles. Experiments were carried out on modulations of the indoor soil sample and preparations of the plasticity index of clay samples. Moreover, the undrained triaxial compression tests and permeability tests were completed in order to study the strength characteristics and performance of permeability. The required greater than 30 internal friction angle can be achieved when the plasticity index number is less than 30°. The permeability coefficient was guaranteed to be greater than 10-4cm/s in loose state, but it was very low in dense state. Therefore, other methods of improving permeability need to be adopted to ensure the effective drainage of the sand piles.关键词
