Simulations and applications of bubble/dew curve for different ethanol-gasoline blends

Abstract
An ethanol-gasoline model based on discrete fuel assumption was established to analyze the influence of ethanol proportion on flash boiling. Bubble/dew curves of different fuels were calculated by Aspen Plus using Peng-Robinson method and phase equilibrium. Flash boiling of GDI (gasoline direct injection) fueled with El0 was predicted. Results showed that bubble pressure decrease while the ethanol proportion increase. And low ethanol proportion may border two-phase region, while P-T curve became narrow at high proportion. Also bubble point curve can effectively predict the flash boiling sprays.关键词
