摘要

Abstract

The contents of elements zinc (Zn), iron (Fe) and copper (Cu) in colostrum and milk of buffalo (Murrah×Dehong) were determined.The results showed that the contents of Zn on day 1 and day 2 were significantly higher than those in colostrum and milk of the other days (P<0.05).The content of Zn in colostrum was closed to that in the milk since day 3.The contents of Fe and Cu were decreased gradually with lactation, which in colostrum were higher than those in milk, but the differences were not significant in milk (P>0.05).The content of Fe on day 1 was significantly higher than that on day 7 (P<0.05) , and there was no significant difference among the other days of colostrum (P>0.05).The contents of Fe on day 1 and day 2 were significantly higher than those in milk (P<0.05).The content of Cu on day 1 was significantly higher than those on day 3 and day 5 (P<0.05) , and there was no significant difference compared with those on day 2 and day 7 (P>0.05).The levels of Cu in the first two days were extremely significant higher than those in milk (P<0.01).The research indicated that the contents of Zn, Fe and Cu in colostrum of buffalo were mostly higher than those in milk, which reflected the characteristics of minerals secretion of the mammary during lactation.
