Abstract
Objective To explore the inhibitory effects of cardiac glycosides (digoxin, gitoxin, digitoxin) on human lung cancer cell lines A549 and H1975. Methods Drug sensitivities of A549 and H1975 were detected by MTS assay. Cell apoptosis and proliferation were analyzed by flow cytometry. Results IC50 of H1975 was about 100 nmol/L, while IC50 of A549 was > 10 μmol/L. At least ten times more concentrated drugs were required for A549 than H1975 to achieve similar level of cell apoptosis and growth inhibition. Conclusions Cardiac glycosides show more significant effects of inducing apoptosis and inhibiting proliferation towards H1975 than A549.关键词
