Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the prevalence of skin diseases of canine in Hunan,Guanxi and around areas,so as to provide useful data for control and treatment of the diseases in these areas.A total of 48 127 confirmed cases of different canine diseases from 6 veterinary hospitals were investigated.Among all cases,skin diseases were further categorized and analyzed the relationship between morbidity,age of dogs and seasons.The results showed the dermatosis had very high morbidity（28.58%）,the second most important diseases compared to infection disease.Canine pyoderma and scabies were the two most popular skin diseases,accounting for 28.03% and 26.18%,respectively.Morbidity of skin disease decreased with the increase of age of dogs.In different seasons,the types of prevalent dermatosis were different and lowest morbidity for all skin diseases in winter.The results obtained in this research provided useful epidemiological informations for diagnosis and control of canine dermatosis in these areas.关键词
