Abstract
Objective To explore the causes preventing one - time unpaid blood donors becoming frequent blood donors. Methods Telephone interviews were conducted to blood donors registered and causes preventing them becoming frequent blood donors were identified. Results A total of 2016 out of 2801 donors were successfully interviewed. Main causes such as short of time, fear of acupuncture pain, and failure to pass the blood screening test prevented first - time blood donors becoming frequently blood donors. Conclusion Many causes that prevent one - time unpaid blood donors becoming frequent blood donors are identified. More convenience, better service and more respect can make one-time unpaid blood donors become frequent blood donors.关键词
