摘要

Abstract

From the view of pedestrian safety, this paper introduces the pedestrian traffic conflict technique and the cause of conflict. According to the case study, the impact of intersection signal on pedestrian safety and the relationship between the number running on red light and pedestrian conflicts is discussed. The model of turning around and pedestrian conflicts, the splits and the pedestrian number running on red light are built. Moreover, the effect of three conflict improvement measures is compared. The conflicts characters are analyzed. According to the present problems, this paper proposes some suggestions to improve pedestrian safety.
