摘要

Abstract

Influence of offset spinning on yam quality and twisting triangle area shape was discussed. Offset spinning can be realized through installing traverse guide between front roller nip and yam guide. Different offset direction and offsets can be controlled for the offset spinning. Five kinds of linear density yams were tested and contrasted, the offset direction is right and left,the offsets are 0 ram,6 mm,12 mm and 18 mm. A high speed camera method was used to analyze twisting triangle area shapes and forces. The result shows that the decisive factor of effecting hairiness is the offset spinning direction. For Z twist yam, twisting triangle area shape can be symmetrical when adopting right diagonal spinning path,the yam hairiness can be improved,the best effect can be got when the offset is 12 mm. Yam hariness would be deteriorated when adopting left diagonal spinning path. Yarn evenness would not be effected by offset spinning obviously. It is appropriate to spin coarse linear yarn for offset spinning.
