Historical Functions of Architectural Periodicals in Modern China
摘要
Abstract
Modern architectural periodicals won a place in the history of architecture in China. When exploring the functions of the architectural periodicals, analysis should be conducted in the context of architectural industry development and social media environment at that time. Considering the historical background, the role of modern architectural periodicals is important in the modernization process of Chinese architecture. In this paper, functions of modern architectural periodicals are explored from several aspects. Firstly, its basic function is to transmit architecture information, and other functions are developed on this basis. Secondly, architectural periodicals can impart knowledge and support education in further.Thirdly, architectural periodicals play a role of serving society and guiding practice. In addition, architectural periodicals are part of cultural media by which architects sought self-perception and a sense of belonging.关键词
