On the Influence of Babbitt＇ s Humanism to Liang Shih-chiu＇ s Translantion
摘要
Abstract
Liang Shih-chiu is a famous scholar and translator of modern China. While studying under Irving Babbitt who is the giant of humanism in the United States, Liang Shih-chiu＇ s idea has been changed radically from romanticism to humanism. As for Liang＇ s translation of the work, whether from material selecting or practicing, it con- tinues and demonstrates Babbitt＇ s humanism , revealing a rational humanism.关键词
