Energy Efficiency Analysis and Economic Evaluation of Energy-storage Heat Pump Water Heater Unit

Abstract
To evaluate the annual characteristics of the energy-storage heat pump water heater unit, its energy efficiency ratio (EER) is tested in different operation modes. The MATLAB and DeST softwares are used to simulate the annual running performances of the unit in different zones, and the economy comparation between the titled unit and other common producing hot water ways are made. The results show that the larger cooling storage tank has the higher EER, and the annual EER of the titled unit in the hot summer and warm winter zone is 20% higher than that in the hot summer and cold-winter zone. Compared with the gas water heater, the heat pump water heater unit runs only 1.41 years for its recovery of the accessorial initial investment, and it is suitable for the big public constructions requiring hot water and cooling in the hot summer and warm winter zone.关键词
