蓖麻基因组中一种Mutator-like类型MITEs元件的结构分析和鉴定
Identification and Characterization of Mutator-like MITEs in Castor Bean Genome

Abstract
Mutator-like MITEs were identified and characterized from castor bean (Ricinus communis L) genome using bioinformatics methods. There were seventy-six Mutator-like MITEs less than 3 kb in length in castor bean, of which 53 elements, about 69.7% in total, being less than 1000 bp. Forty-two MITEs were located in intergenic regions, 11 in nitrons and 8 and 4 elements in 5' UTR and 3' DTK regions, respectively. Only one element was inserted in the coding region of gene. Twenty-nine pack-MITEs were found containing gene fragment sequences unrelated to transposase gene. And some pack-MITEs carried with the sequence fragments belonging to the same gene. The results showed that Mutator-like MITEs may play potential roles in the regulation of gene expression and genome evolution in castor bean.关键词
