摘要

Abstract

In the cutting logging process, how to recognize the cuttings automatically and correctly is very important. In this paper, the features of cuttings are detected by using Color Histogram. Then the features are used to train the randon forest classifier. Finally , the cuttings are classified by using the randon forest. Using the algorithm, after logged several gas reservoir, a high recognition rate can be reached at 90%. The experimental results demonstrate the algorithm is feasible, robust and applicable.
