Abstract
To observe and evaluate the efficacy of solifenacin vesicare on bladder spasm after transurethral resection of prostate using plasma kinetic energy. Methods A randomized , double-blind parallel-controlled sdudy was carried out in 65 patients with bladder spasm after transurethral resection of prostate using plasma kinetic energy. Patients received either solifenacin vesicare (5 mg daily) or Tolterodine (2mg second daily). Results In 72 hours of treatment after operation , the targets of treatment group are lower significantly than those of control group in the mean times of bladder spasm (1. 87 ± 1.45 VS 2. 98 ± 1.24) , lenglhoftime(35.2±12.5 VS 54.3 ±26. 8) , the time of bladder irrigation (21.5 ±4.5 VS32.4±5.7) and the mean grade of bladder spasm (1.58 ± 0. 72 VS 2. 03 ± 0.75 ). No severe adverse events occurred in the treatment group. Conclusion The solifenacin vesicare therapy for patients with bladder spasm after transurethral resection of prostate using plasma kinetic energy is effective and safe.关键词
