Investigation of job satisfaction of nurses with emergency allocation of nursing human resource

Abstract
Objective To investigate the job satisfaction of nurses with emergency allocation of nursing human resource, and explore the effect of this model in clinic. Methods From January to October 2011 the nurses asking for or receiving emergency allocation of nursing human resource in our hospital were investigated by questionnaire , including the frequency of asking for help, aid pattern and job satisfaction with aid. Results The total number of asking for emergency allocation of nursing human resource was 55, with 43 in clinic request (78.2% ) , and 12 in unexpected task request (21. 8% ) ; with 23 of self-help (41. 8% ) , and 32 of mutual aid (58. 2% ). 43. 2% of nurses approved this model, but 60. 2% were unsatisfied with the low income. 40. 9% of nurses thought the model influenced the job stability. Conclusion The emergency allocation of nursing human resource, which can solve the shortage of nursing manpower as a emergency compensatory style, is feasible. However, this aid model needs appropriate economic support by the hospital.关键词
