摘要

Abstract

The interfacial property of the Polypropylene/Basalt fiber (PP/BF) composites was improved by adding block copolymer PS-b-PHEA as coupling agent. The results show that: with the addition of the block copolymer PS-b-PHEA, the interfacial adhesion between PP and BF gets better, and then a flexible layer is formed on interface. The flexible layer can relax the thermal stress there, disperse external load immediately, and absorb the energy of external force. Thus, the strength and toughness of the composites are improved.
